What you will do: 

As a Sales Manager, Security Sales, you will be responsible for driving growth of Tyco security solutions across assigned vertical markets in Malaysia. Reporting to the Sales Leader, you will focus on securing new projects, managing key accounts and achieving sales targets through consultative and technical selling.

You will:

  • Achieve assigned annual sales revenue and gross margin targets
  • Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities in targeted verticals
  • Manage and grow relationships with consultants, system integrators, contractors, developers and end users
  • Prepare technical proposals, system designs, tenders and quotations
  • Conduct product presentations and solution demonstrations to customers
  • Ensure proposed solutions comply with tender specifications and technical requirements
  • Negotiate commercial terms and secure contracts in line with company policies
  • Maintain strong pipeline management and provide accurate sales forecasting
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing strategies
  • Support project execution teams during handover and participate in key client meetings when required

How you will do it: 

  • Apply consultative selling approach to understand customer security risks and recommend appropriate integrated solutions
  • Work closely with pre-sales, engineering and operations teams to develop competitive and technically sound proposals
  • Maintain strong engagement with architects, consultants and M&E engineers to influence project specifications
  • Develop account plans for key customers to drive long-term growth and retention
  • Ensure timely follow-up on quotations and tenders to improve conversion rates
  • Deliver accurate monthly sales forecast and pipeline reports
  • Strengthen Tyco brand positioning in the Malaysian security market

What we look for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, Integrated Security Solutions)
  • Proven track record in project sales and achieving sales targets
  • Strong understanding of tender processes and project-based selling
  • Good technical knowledge of security system design
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred  

  • Experience working in a multinational environment
  • Existing network with consultants, contractors and developers in Malaysia
  • Knowledge of integrated solutions including BMS/ELV systems is an advantage
  • Familiarity with major security brands and enterprise-level systems
