What you will do:
This position provides essential support to the Technology Procurement Tower. Will support both inside the Communications Tower and to the wider Technology Procurement org. The position is closely aligned with the Global Technology Expense Management (TEM) program.
How you will do it:
- Support US & Canada telecom payment process by identifying missed payments
- Track and reduce late fees on North America telecom billing
- Update TEM system inventory especially circuits located at customer premises
- Submit disconnection requests for services no longer required
- Work with the TEM provider audit teams to track disputes and savings
- Assist with the Accounts Receivable tracking for major telco suppliers
- Work within ERP (Finance) systems to retrieve billing information / invoice copies
- Work with IT & Procurement teams to support supplier classification work and assist with TEM expansion
- Update the WAVE system to show savings related to Telecom initiatives
- Run the weekly Managed Pay telco invoice payment process
- Support requests for reports across the Technology Procurement Tower
- Provide distribution data to allow the cross charging of telecom costs
- Support the monthly distribution of emails informing employees of their mobility costs
What we look for:
Required
- Must be a fluent English speaker.
- Degree in Business, Finance, or IT
- Excellent communication and personal skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a remote team / must be a “team player”
- High level of Microsoft Office skills
- Excel skills are essential
- Power BI skills would be welcome
- Knowledge of basic AI (Co Pilot) would be useful
- Ability to self-manage workload and ensure essential tasks are completed on time
Preferred:
- 1 year+ experience of working with Telecommunications / IT billing or Finance (either mobile or fixed)·
- Experience of working in a Telecom Expense Management tool would be very useful.
- Knowledge of LEAN / Six Sigma methodology
