职位描述

The Director of Projects & Aftermarket Services – EMEA is a senior leadership role responsible for the successful execution, profitability, and customer satisfaction of all capital projects and aftermarket service activities across the EMEA region.

This role owns the end-to-end delivery lifecycle—from project handover and execution through installation, commissioning, service support, upgrades, and lifecycle services—while driving operational excellence, margin improvement, and a strong safety and quality culture.

What you will do:

  • Define and execute the EMEA Project and Aftermarket Services strategy aligned with wider enterprise objectives.

  • Own on-time, on-budget, and margin-positive execution of all regional projects.

  • Lead and grow the aftermarket services business including field services, spares, and service contracts.

  • Maintain full responsibility for projects and services in EMEA.

  • Act as executive sponsor for key and strategic customer accounts.

  • Build and develop a high-performing, geographically dispersed leadership team.

  • Champion safety, regulatory compliance, and quality excellence across all activities.

1. Strategic Leadership & Regional Ownership

  • Define and execute the EMEA Project and Aftermarket Services strategy, aligned with enterprise operational and commercial goals.

  • Translate regional growth plans into scalable delivery and service capabilities.

  • Act as the senior escalation point for critical customer, project, and service issues.

  • Contribute to EMEA leadership team decisions, strategy development, and long‑range planning.

2. Project Execution & Governance

  • Own on‑time, on‑budget, and margin‑positive execution of all projects across EMEA.

  • Establish and enforce project governance standards, stage‑gate controls, risk management, and reporting disciplines.

  • Ensure effective resource planning, capacity management, and project prioritization.

  • Lead resolution of complex execution challenges including scope changes, claims, and customer negotiations.

  • Drive continuous improvement in project predictability and delivery performance.

3. Aftermarket & Services Growth

  • Lead and grow the aftermarket services business, including field services, spares, service contracts, upgrades, retrofits, digital services, and lifecycle solutions.

  • Drive recurring revenue growth, contract penetration, and customer retention across EMEA.

  • Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to develop compelling aftermarket value propositions.

  • Ensure seamless transition from project delivery into long‑term service support.

4. Financial Performance & Operational Excellence

  • Full P&L responsibility for Projects and Aftermarket Services in EMEA.

  • Deliver revenue, margin, cash flow, and cost targets.

  • Drive productivity, utilization, and cost optimization initiatives.

  • Ensure robust forecasting, backlog management, and financial transparency.

  • Lead PMO and operational excellence initiatives (Lean, standardization, digital tools).

5. Customer Experience & Key Account Engagement

  • Act as an executive sponsor for strategic and key accounts.

  • Build trusted relationships with customer senior leadership.

  • Drive customer satisfaction, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and long‑term partnership models.

  • Support commercial negotiations for large, complex, or high‑risk deals.

6. People Leadership & Talent Development

  • Build, inspire, and retain a high‑performing, geographically dispersed team.

  • Develop succession plans, leadership capability, and technical expertise.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with regional labor laws and company HR policies.

7. Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Champion a zero‑harm safety culture across all project and service activities.

  • Ensure compliance with EMEA regulatory standards, quality systems, and ethical requirements.

  • Drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for safety or quality incidents.

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in project delivery, services, or operations.

  • Proven experience managing multi-country EMEA organizations with P&L responsibility.

  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of capital equipment or industrial services.

  • Fluent English required; additional European languages desirable.
