As a Data Loss Prevention Application & Policy Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of data loss prevention strategies and technologies. Your role is vital to ensuring compliance with data protection regulations while mitigating risks associated with sensitive information. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of our data protection initiatives.

What you will do:

• Develop, implement, and manage data loss prevention policies and applications to protect sensitive data across various platforms.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies to safeguard data integrity.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure data protection policies align with industry regulations and best practices.
• Monitor and analyze data loss prevention incidents, providing insights and recommendations for policy improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12-15 years of experience in data security, data protection, or information governance roles.
• Proven experience implementing data loss prevention technologies and policies.
• Strong understanding of data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex data protection concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Experience with data loss prevention tools and strategies, as well as incident management processes.
