As a Sprinkler Inspector, you will perform routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler, and Suppression life safety product lines, as well as similar competitive manufacturers’ product lines. • Stay close to the work by following the inspection schedule closely, completing assigned work on time, and adapting to customer needs.
  • Improve every day by taking a hands-on, problem-solving approach to minor repairs, programming changes, and field conditions.
  • Win as one team by supporting the foreman, collaborating with customers and teammates, and bringing a positive attitude and willingness to learn quickly.
  • Operate safely and with integrity while performing physical work, using tools and equipment correctly, and following all safety guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications

  • NICET II Certification Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and retain any licenses required by national, state, and local codes.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs, schematics, and operational/product manuals.

  • Capability to perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends, to meet customer requirements.
  • Willingness to travel out of town.
  • Strong customer service skills, organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
