Job Description

We are looking for a: Design Engineers

What you will do: 

  • Performs drafting for sheetmetal, piping, harneses, assemblies for chillers. 
  • Performs the design of chillers with special option with low complexity. 
  • Performs New Product Introduction (NPI) activities through creation and implementation of Engineering Bills of Materials (eBOM to mBOM)
  • Develop and maintain product structures and BOMs within Windchill PLM.

 

How you will do it: 

  • Drafting/Design of electrical harness, models, routing, schematics 
  • Drafting/Design of mechanical parts, piping, sheet metal, assemblies 
  • Read and interpret boms 
  • 2D Engineering drawings interpretation and creation 
  • Validate BOM releases and configuration consistency between PLM and ERP (SAP)
  • Support new product launches through data preparation, BOM implementation, and product structure validation

 

What we look for: 

 

Required 

  • Creo Parametric or similar experience. 
  • PLM Windchill experience 
  • SAP experience 
  • Microsoft Office 
  • Electrical design knowledge 
  • Mechanical design knowledge 
  • Highly organized 
  • Soft skills 
  • Good communication and written skills 

 

Preferred 

  • Automotive Design, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aeronautical, Electronic/Electrical Engineers, Technical 
  • 2-3 yrs of experience
  • Fluent in spoken and written English. 
  • Experience implementing BOMs for new product launches
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing BOMs (mBOM) and Engineering BOMs (eBOM)
