Job Description:

A Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Mechanical is an entry-level role intended to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical engineering application. The position provides structured exposure to real-world engineering environments, where trainees support experienced professionals, undergo comprehensive on-the-job training, and develop hands-on expertise in areas such as manufacturing, product design, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Assist senior engineers in activities such as product design, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
  • Drafting and Modelling: Prepare, revise, and interpret engineering drawings, including 2D drafts and 3D models, using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reports, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and records required for new product release to production.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical/Production Engineering (recent graduates or final-year students).
  • Experience: 0-1 year of experience (Fresh graduates welcome!).
  • Technical Competencies : Strong foundation in mechanical design, CAD tools (Creo Parametric), basic manufacturing knowledge, Fundamental understanding of material science, thermodynamics, along with familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Soft Skills: Communication, teamwork, adaptability, eagerness to learn.
