Job Description

Job Title: Data Engineer – Product Delivery

Experience: 4- 6 years

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Product Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and architectures to support product development, analytics, and business decision-making.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for product data ingestion and transformation.
  • Data Modeling: Develop and optimize data models to support analytics, reporting, and product features.
  • Cloud Platforms: Work with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure reliable and secure data delivery.
  • Collaboration: Partner with product managers, analysts, and software engineers to deliver data solutions aligned with product goals.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve data pipeline performance, ensuring low latency and high availability.
  • Data Quality: Implement data validation, monitoring, and governance practices to maintain accuracy and consistency.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for data workflows and architecture.

What We Look For:

Required:

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and one additional language (Scala/Java preferred).
  • Big Data Tools: Hands-on experience with Spark, Hadoop, or similar frameworks.
  • Data Warehousing: Strong knowledge of Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, or equivalent.
  • Workflow Orchestration: Experience with Airflow, Luigi, or similar scheduling tools.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
  • Cloud Services: Practical experience with AWS (Glue, EMR, S3), Azure Data Factory, or GCP Dataflow.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a product-focused mindset.

Preferred:

  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
