The Service Engineer – CFS is responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building automation systems, fire detection & suppression systems, and electronic security systems. The role ensures system reliability, compliance with safety standards, and high customer satisfaction through timely service delivery.
What we look for:
1. Installation & Commissioning
Install and commission systems such as:
Building Management Systems (BMS) / PLC-based control systems
Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Fire Suppression systems
CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Alarm Systems
Conduct system testing and ensure proper integration
Validate performance as per technical and safety standards
2. Maintenance & Servicing
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of installed systems
Conduct periodic inspections and system health checks
Ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance
3. Troubleshooting & Fault Resolution
Diagnose issues in control panels, sensors, wiring, and field devices
Troubleshoot PLCs, controllers, fire panels, and security devices
Execute timely repairs and escalate complex issues when required
4. Customer Support
Interface with clients to understand issues and provide solutions
Ensure adherence to SLAs and service timelines
Provide user training and system guidance
5. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and compliance records
Update service activities in CRM/ERP tools
Track spare parts and inventory usage
6. Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with fire safety standards (NFPA / NBC / local regulations)
Adhere to company safety protocols during service activities
Participate in audits and inspections
Required Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor’s in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
2–5 years of experience in:
Fire & Safety Systems
Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control)
Building Automation / Controls
Key Skills
Strong troubleshooting in electrical & control systems
Knowledge of:
Fire alarm panels (addressable & conventional)
CCTV, Access Control systems
PLC / BMS systems
Understanding of wiring diagrams and control schematics
Good communication and customer-facing skills
