Your Impact

As a Hardware Sustaining Engineer, you’ll maintain and enhance existing fire detection hardware — including control panels, detectors, and notification devices. Your work ensures long-term reliability, regulatory compliance, and customer trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve hardware issues in existing products
  • Collaborate with global engineering, customer support, and compliance teams
  • Implement design improvements and cost optimizations
  • Support product lifecycle activities (component obsolescence, redesigns)
  • Maintain documentation and ensure regulatory alignment

What You Bring

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in embedded hardware troubleshooting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer)

Preferred Skills

  • Low-power analog circuit design
  • Knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC converters
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems
