What You Will Do

We’re looking for a Field Delivery Manager to lead and inspire a team of field engineers across the Manchester to Scotland region. In this key leadership role, you’ll ensure smooth service delivery, strong customer relationships, and operational efficiency—while managing performance, supporting team development, and driving continuous improvement within a defined financial framework.

How you will do it

As a Field Delivery Manager, you’ll take ownership of service delivery by:

  • Leading and ensuring the safety of a regional team of field-based engineers
  • Supporting the Service Delivery Manager in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving key performance indicators
  • Managing budgets and costs, while identifying opportunities to drive financial efficiency
  • Coaching, motivating, and engaging engineers to enhance performance and team culture
  • Building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships based on trust and collaboration
  • Championing operational excellence to meet customer needs and business goals

What We Look For

Essential:

  • Experience working as a service engineer in the sprinkler industry
  • Strong people management skills with a proven ability to coach and lead teams
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management capabilities
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to balance service quality with financial performance

Preferred:

  • Previous leadership experience in a field-based service role
  • Demonstrated success in delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
