You will be responsible for ensuring smooth, controlled, and timely releases of new ServiceMax features, updates, and patches. You will collaborate with various technical and business teams to plan, schedule, and execute releases while minimizing risk and ensuring quality.

What you will do

  • Lead the coordination, and execution of ServiceMax releases, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and the release process is smooth and efficient.
  • Develop detailed release schedules, milestones, and documentation for each release, ensuring timely delivery within agreed-upon timelines.
  • Coordinate with development, QA, and business teams to define release scope, objectives, and timelines.
  • Manage release dependencies, prioritize tasks, and resolve any blockers or risks during the release process.
  • Oversee the end-to-end deployment process, ensuring that ServiceMax updates, patches, and customizations are deployed to production systems without disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Track and report on the status of each release, ensuring issues are addressed and resolved quickly.

How you will do it

  • Ensure that all releases follow proper change management procedures, including version control, documentation, and approval workflows.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with each release, ensuring a seamless user experience and system stability.
  • Provide regular status updates and communication to stakeholders regarding release progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the release management process and implement best practices to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Stay up to date with new ServiceMax features, Salesforce updates, and release management tools to continuously improve processes.
  • Facilitate post-release reviews to capture lessons learned and implement improvements for future releases.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all release-related communication between technical teams, business users, and vendors.
  • Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of each release.

What we look for

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in release management, with at least 2 years focused on ServiceMax and/or Salesforce-based solutions.

Preferred:

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
