Job Description

What you will do ?

Responsible for all Design, Sustaining, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality for Pneumatic, Mechanical and Electronics. Responsible for coordinating through all functions of new products into the Reynosa Operation; Coordinates with Design Engineering for Reynosa relative to requirements and capabilities; Effective supervision and management of Resources to achieve Division and Group Goals; Labor and Processes, are met to manufacture a product that meets expectations.

Commitment to Quality:

Accomplish the Quality Policy of the Division. Assure an effective Quality Management System is in place for the Operations.

How you will do it?

  • Interface with Design Engineering and Quality at other locations to assure manufacturability of product.

  • Manage Design responsibilities and maintain implementation schedulers in all new products in Reynosa and coordinate Project

  • Review Meetings with Design, Quality and Plant Manufacturing

  • Manage, coordinate and support sustaining engineering activities, ECs, deviations, etc.

  • Develop, plan and implement Cost Reduction opportunities relative to material, process and methods and coordinate test

  • development.

  • Oversee the preparation of all process documentation for new products.

  • Prepare and manage annual Budget for Department.

  • Coordinate sample runs and review cost of product before and after starting production.

  • Coordinate quality, test development, hardware and software activities.

  • Full knowledge of the New Product Introduction process.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Internal and External Customers:

  • End users.

  • Manufacturing, Product teams, Finance, Materials SPD Quality, MIS.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or five years’ experience in manufacturing engineering field.

  • Ability to implement projects. Use of MS-Project a plus.

  • MS Office Tools

  • PLM Windchill

  • Tolerance Stack Up Analysis, GD&T

  • Time Study Analysis

  • 2D/3D CAD software, CREO preferred.

  • Fluent in English/Spanish

  • SAP
