Become a Key Player at Johnson Controls

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager to drive the development of our aftermarket and parts business across EMEA.

The Role

As Senior Sales Manager, you will play a central role in strengthening and expanding our sales efforts within Industrial Refrigeration and aftermarket solutions.

You will be responsible for driving growth through both direct sales and indirect channels (distributors and partners), and you will collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders.

This is an individual contributor role with significant strategic impact and the opportunity to evolve into a leadership position.

You must be open to travel (up to 30%), as the role requires close collaboration with colleagues, customers, and partners across the region. Your primary workplace will be our office in Holme, Aarhus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth in the aftermarket and parts business across EMEA ( All channel stakeholders)
  • Drive and support playbook execution to growth Industrial Refrigeration for indirect and direct channels
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with distributors and third-party partners
  • Identify new market opportunities and increase market share
  • Develop portfolio segmentation to visualize areas of growth.
  • Develop and implement sales initiatives across regions
  • Work in a data-driven way with pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Build dashboards and increase transparency in sales performance
  • Drive improvements in both underperforming and high-performing markets
  • Collaborate closely with: Product Management, Engineering, Operations and Regional Leadership
  • Contribute to standardizing processes and best practices globally

Who you are:

To succeed in this role, we expect that you:

  • Have solid experience within Industrial Refrigeration, compressors, or a related technical industry
  • Bring at least 10 years of experience in aftermarket, channel management, or technical sales
  • Thrive in a role with many stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration
  • Are strong in analysis, structure, and commercial execution
  • Have strong communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage)
  • Are comfortable with a role that includes travel (up to 30%)
