Junior Electrical Engineer

What you will do
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of engineering projects.
How you will do it
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components
- Prepare electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
- Support project delivery by performing calculations, simulations, and analysis
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and support maintenance activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and software engineers
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and safety regulations
- Assist in preparing reports, specifications, and project documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within engineering processes
What we look for
- Valid Work Permit/Right to Work in Ireland is essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
- Familiarity with electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Dialux, EPLAN, ETAP, or similar)
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems such as power distribution, control panels, or instrumentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
