This position is responsible for the development of embedded hardware for Chiller products within our Building Efficiency business.

what you will do:

● Taking a lead in PCBA hardware and layout design to ensure conformance to design specifications and the JCI Hardware Development Process;

● Develop and maintain electronic circuit designs with embedded processors and FPGA/CPLD. Design of analog and digital interface circuits, development of power supply circuits and/or selection of power supplies

● Supporting a philosophy of cooperation within the hardware team; Perform worst case circuit analysis and incorporation of appropriate reliability principles to ensure reliable operation over the environmental specifications.

● Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules and budgets;

● Obtain agency approvals such as UL, CE and FCC on Printed Circuit boards.

● Supporting Software engineering team to analyze the rationality and economy of the hardware system, and to keep improvement.

● Documenting and archiving hardware program releases in accordance with the Hardware Development Process;

What we want:

● This person must have exceptionally good hardware design, be familiar with circuit design and layout tools such as Mentor , Altium etc.

● Familiarity with Renesas, ST, NXP and TI processor with ARM core and TI DSP is desired.

● Be familiar with hardware knowledge of Industrial control system, Motor control and characteristics of various electronic components.

● Experience with power electronic hardware design.

● Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially on English.

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline with at least 5 years of hardware PCBA engineering experience.

● Familiarity with HVAC Systems is a plus.

● Must live within reasonable driving distance to our Wuxi office
