Job Purpose: The Sustainability Engineer will be responsible for sustainability consulting during all the life cycle (pre-design, design, construction and operation phase) the design and construction phases of new projects or refurbishments retrofits. This role will involve conducting energy audits, gathering information, doing research, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with sustainability certifications and constant communication with stakeholders.

This person should be passionate about sustainability and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Provide sustainability consulting for building certifications.

Conduct energy audits and deliver consulting services.  Development of calculations and innovative methodologies for the implementation of sustainability strategies

Prepare documentation for and document reports for various sustainability consultancies.

Assist in inspections and verify that all the sustainability requirements are in place ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.

Collaborate with clients and contractors to facilitate project goals.

Review floor plans using Utilize software tools such as PDF tools, Revit and AutoCAD for plan handling.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or , Electromechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering or related field

Basic knowledge of MEP systems with at least one year of relevant experience or academic focus.

Basic knowledge of LEED, WELL, EDGE, Fitwel, among others sustainability certifications

LEED Green Associate credential

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel

Fluency in English (B2 or above).

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity Experience with HVAC systems, energy efficiencies strategies and indoor air quality principles.

Experience with Revit.

ASHRAE Commissioning Professional certification.credential

Basic knowledge of eQuest for energy modeling tools such as eQuest, Design Builder, IES VE or others
