At Johnson Controls, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle management of our Commercial Refrigeration (PENN) product portfolio. This role is critical in driving product innovation, market competitiveness, and revenue growth across North America and global markets

The Senior Global Product Manager serving as the primary interface between market needs and engineering execution, will define and drive the product roadmap for a portfolio of electromechanical to smart electronic products in the HVAC and Commercial Refrigeration. Leveraging deep domain knowledge and customer insights, the product manager will lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from requirements definition through design validation and commercial launch. This position is based onsite at our Glendale, WI, facility. Candidates must be commuting distance or able/willing to relocate.

How will you do it
•   Own the Product Vision & P&L: Define and execute the product strategy for field devices, aligning with market trends, customer needs, and sustainability goals.
•    Lead New Product Development: Partner with engineering, UX, and manufacturing to bring cutting-edge products to life
•    Drive Market Success: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities and shape winning value propositions.
•    Manage the Lifecycle: Oversee the full product lifecycle—launch, growth, maturity, and sunset—with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
•    Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure successful go-to-market execution and customer satisfaction.
•    80/20 Deployment to rationalize SKUs proliferation to drive lean manufacturing  
•    Drive roadmaps to meet future Regulatory and Compliance requirements.
  
What you will need
Required
•    BS  in Engineering, Business or Marketing 
•    8+ years in Product Management ideally in HVAC, Commercial Refrigeration, Industrial Automation.
•    Experience with agile development, product roadmaps & cross functional leadership.
•    Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills
