Johnson Controls is seeking a dedicated ServiceMax Techno-Functional Lead who will be responsible for the successful implementation, enhancement, and support of our field service management solutions. This role combines business acumen with technical expertise in ServiceMax and Salesforce platforms. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders from business and IT teams to translate service business needs into effective and scalable solutions.

What you will do

  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of ServiceMax implementations.

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from field service, operations, and customer support teams.

  • Convert functional needs into technical specifications, adhering to best practices in ServiceMax and Salesforce.

  • Work with Salesforce developers and architects to ensure smooth system integration and data flow.

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to streamline the technical blueprint and assist in the implementation plan.

  • Conduct integration testing and support during user acceptance testing.

  • Help create an operational run book for the support team.

  • Deliver training and materials for new solution support.

  • Contribute to the development of the team’s expertise across Architects, Business Analysts, and Management Services.

  • Mentor junior consultants and team members on ServiceMax configurations and development.

How you will do it

  • Engage with IT business partnership teams on solution usage and development.

  • Configure ServiceMax modules like Work Orders, Entitlements, Installed Base, Preventive Maintenance, and Dispatch Console.

  • Develop custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and integrations within Salesforce and ServiceMax as required.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for ServiceMax, providing technical guidance and training to internal teams.

  • Support the Solution Architect, Business System Analysts, and PMO Program Managers in delivering the Installation & Service Roadmap.

  • Facilitate improved reliability and efficiency with the solution operations leader.

  • Display exceptional collaboration, teamwork, negotiation, influence, and relationship-building skills at all levels, in line with Johnson Controls’ core values: integrity, teamwork, excellence, and accountability.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and standard operating procedures.

What we look for

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in the Field Service domain.

  • Minimum 5 years of implementation experience with Salesforce.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with ServiceMax.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture and development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components).

  • Ability to create custom solutions using ServiceMax tools such as Service Flow Manager, Process Builder, and Visual Workflow.

  • Proven experience in implementing mobile applications like ServiceMax GO.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

  • Experience in field service-intensive industries (e.g., manufacturing, utilities, medical devices).

  • Knowledge of Databases – Oracle, SQL Server.
