What You Will Do
As the Regional Sales Manager for PAVA (Public Address/Voice Alarm), you will play a pivotal role in driving new build installation and service growth within the Marine & Navy segment of Johnson Controls. This global role focuses on expanding our presence in key sectors such as data centres, renewables (wind, solar, geothermal, biomass, hydropower), and other industries where PAVA systems are essential.
You will be responsible for:
Leading sales initiatives for PAVA systems.
Growing our market share by cross-selling complementary solutions such as CAFS, Water Mist, Detection, HVAC, and other safety-critical systems.
Collaborating closely with our UK-based estimations team to support your sales strategy and execution.
How You Will Do It
You will execute a targeted Go-To-Market strategy, leveraging enterprise tools and value-based selling to drive growth. Your responsibilities will include:
Adapting your sales strategy based on market insights and performance data.
Utilizing Salesforce.com to manage leads, track performance, and build a robust sales pipeline.
Engaging with new clients through field activity and industry networking to uncover new opportunities.
Working with our Marketing team to develop tailored campaigns that support your growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement business development strategies in target markets.
Identify and grow existing accounts while converting new opportunities.
Monitor competitor activity and market developments.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Ensure efficient bid management and stakeholder coordination.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in sales processes.
What We Look For
We’re seeking a dynamic sales professional with a proven track record in technical solution sales and business development. You should be comfortable navigating complex sales environments and building strong client relationships.
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of PAVA systems and related technologies.
Experience in field sales and relationship-based selling.
Familiarity with Salesforce.com and tools like Altify.
Ability to manage pipelines, forecast sales, and close deals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including at board level.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Experience
Background in the renewables sector or with major Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind, or New Energy clients.
Experience working with EPCs, design offices, and end users.
Ability to create strategic plans and lead cross-functional teams.
Customer-focused mindset with a drive for results.
