What you will do:

The Senior Application Engineer will provide technical support for JCI BAS dealer partners in APAC region out of China, primarily focusing on post-sales technical issues. This role needs to help BAS partners with timely responses, facilitate productive discussions and communications, and address their issues effectively. This position is also going to deliver technical training programs for BAS products in either classroom or virtual to various student populations.

How you will do it:

Ensure timely and high-quality product service literature and technical support case notes.

Assist regional representatives with required analysis, defects, and failed components of warranty claims.

Provide technical support and collaborate with the product engineering team to drive improvements.

Guide partners' engineers in writing the issue reports and conclusions for their customers.

Educate regional representatives and BAS partners on the reasons for failures and their impacts on equipment and customers.

Design, develop, and facilitate BAS commission training.

Document course enhancements based on feedback from customers and subject matter experts.

Be prepared for potential travel across APAC, which may be required for up to 10% of the time.

Provide tests and assist in product launches by collaborating with global product managers.

What we look for:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge of BAS programming is required.

Ability to analyze and resolve complex product system issues.

Willingness to travel up to 10% and occasionally internationally.
