Job Overview: The Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for rebuilding the Supplier Quality Assurance team in Asia, following the transition of the former team to JCI APAC or HGLS. This role focuses on improving supplier quality and performance, resolving supplier quality issues, and conducting assessments for both potential and existing suppliers. The Specialist will support new product launches and implement supplier quality processes and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rebuild and lead the Supplier Quality Assurance team in Asia.
• Improve overall supplier quality and performance metrics.
• Identify and resolve supplier quality issues through effective communication and collaboration.
• Conduct assessments for potential and existing suppliers to evaluate their capabilities.
• Support new product launches by implementing robust supplier quality processes and programs.
• Develop and maintain supplier quality documentation and reporting processes.

Qualifications:

• University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in supplier quality assurance or a similar field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Experience in managing supplier relationships and implementing quality management systems is preferred.
