What You Will Do

As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:

• Learn to design fire suppression systems using site surveys or supplied drawings.
• Support senior designers and engineers in project development and execution.
• Gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD and other industry software.
• Assist in ensuring design schedules are met for approval, fabrication, and construction.
• Liaise with sales, contract managers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct Design Risk Assessments under guidance.
• Support in the creation of project documentation, including certification and handover packs.
• Develop an understanding of industry standards such as FM, NFPA, and EN regulations.

What We Look For

Essential:

• A recent graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Building Services Engineering (or a related field).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (3D capabilities would be a plus).
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A keen interest in fire protection and building safety systems.

Preferred (but not required):

• Knowledge of sprinkler design or fire suppression systems.
• A full driving license.
