What You Will Do
As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:
- Learn to design fire suppression systems using site surveys or supplied drawings.
- Support senior designers and engineers in project development and execution.
- Gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD and other industry software.
- Assist in ensuring design schedules are met for approval, fabrication, and construction.
- Liaise with sales, contract managers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct Design Risk Assessments under guidance.
- Support in the creation of project documentation, including certification and handover packs.
- Develop an understanding of industry standards such as FM, NFPA, and EN regulations.

What We Look For
Essential:
- A recent graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Building Services Engineering (or a related field).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (3D capabilities would be a plus).
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A keen interest in fire protection and building safety systems.
Preferred (but not required):
- Knowledge of sprinkler design or fire suppression systems.
- A full driving license.
