Job Description
What you will do
Focus on maintenance and repair within set timeframes and according to defined process, service agreements and customer needs.
Completes planned / customer visits and resolves customer requests/calls as dispatched
Develops positive customer relationships, ensures pro-active feedback on and documents of the customer’s equipment and systems status and of work completed
How you will do it
Under close supervision, maintains and repairs systems malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge and relevant qualifications as well as an understanding of time and material requirements. Seeks clarification and technical support where needed and escalates issues as appropriate.
Understands and analyses relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, psychometric diagrams, etc.
Communications with customer upon arrival and before leaving site. Meet regularly with customers to become familiar with operating problems and reach full understanding of customer needs.
Keeps customer informed of the nature of service provided, outstanding issues, recommends syste, enhancement/upgrade/replacement and promotes the sale of change orders and/or additional labor & material work.
Advises and trains customers in system operations
Document work completed in a clear and concise way and promptly submits service reports.
Maintains and improves technical proficiency in Johnson Controls lines.
Ensures compliance with the Johnson Controls safety culture and adheres to all applicable safety standards, requirements and equipment.
Ensures compliance with environmental and industry regulations, where required.
In addition to the above mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.
What we look for
Required
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 2 -4 years’ experience in servicing, maintenance and overhauling of HVAC Systems, Air Cooled Chillers, Compressor Overhauling, specifically reciprocating and screw compressors.
Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on HVAC systems mostly on Chillers, Braizing, Vaccum, Pressure Test
Ability to read and understand electrical single line diagrams of HVAC systems
Experience in handling reports & communications in a concise way.
Fluent language skills in English
Valid Driving License
Preferred
Experienced in service/maintenance of about York / Carrier / Daikin/ Trane
Experience in servicing, maintenance and overhauling of HVAC Systems, Air Cooled Chillers, Compressor Overhauling, specifically reciprocating and screw compressors within GCC region
Knowledge in troubleshooting of electrical systems, variable speed drive.
