Job Description

Warehouse Technician

What you will do

As a Warehouse team member at the heart of our manufacturing facility, you'll play a crucial role in providing top-notch customer service. Join a friendly team/environment, engaging in tasks like picking, packing, sorting, and handling a variety of different products

  • Distribution and replenishment of goods within the warehouse
  • Picking of goods against fulfilment orders
  • Packing orders to the required standard and specification
  • Replenishment of work area
  • Replenishment of onsite kanban’s
  • Replenishment of onsite cylinder bank
  • Pack Orders with adequate packing materials to prevent damage in transit.
  • Create prepacking specifications.
  • Accurate and timely work
  • All duties may involve working with or around various powered MHE
  • Reporting any product discrepancies will also be part of your role.
  • You will manage stock levels and inventory of existing products.
  • You will be trained on how to use our stock management system. (Navision)
  • Your tasks will also include internal order picking, selecting products from stock, and ensuring all products are included in orders before delivering into production.
  • Finally, you will create shipping labels and finalising packing lists.
  • In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.

  • Safe Manual Handling practices Quality:
  • Apply, execute, and maintain function related quality issues.
  • Report all quality non-conformances, concerns, and quality near misses

What we look for

Required:

  • Computer literacy.
  • Organized and good communicator.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Warehouse work experience.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of ERP system (Navision).
  • Knowledge of shipping/receiving dangerous goods (DG/IATA)
