Job Description

What you will do:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team in a Contract Specialist role. This position plays a critical part in reviewing and finalizing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about legal and commercial frameworks to grow within a dynamic and supportive environment.

How you will do it:

  • Review contracts based on priorities.

  • Identify risks, pitfalls and mitigation measures via transfer or annulment of risk by use of appropriate amendments to contract language.

  • Identify restrictive trade practices under the Contract; report it via formal procedures and negotiate such non-permissible practices out of the Contract.

  • Facilitate legal review, as applicable.

  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions via formal stakeholder interaction to the best possible position in a timely manner.

  • Support Finance on Bank Guarantee negotiation (where required).

  • Liaise with Sales/Estimation and Ops to better understand the risk profile, establish assumptions made etc. and also to appraise them of the stringent requirements under the Contract to allow for costs and/or risk management.

  • Final Contract Review.

  • Facilitate internal approvals and authorized signatures as per company policies.

  • Provide suggestions for improving / streamlining the process.

  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager on any pre-contract issues.

What we look for:

Education: Degree in Law, Legal Studies, Commercial Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Fresh Graduates Welcome: This position is suitable for motivated graduates eager to begin their career in contract and commercial management

Language Skills: Proficient in English — both written and spoken

Communication: Good interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders across departments and external partners

Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify risks, restrictive trade practices, and propose effective mitigation strategies

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reviewing and amending contractual documents
