What You’ll Do:
- Set up and operate metal fabricating machines (brakes, shears, presses)
- Read blueprints and shop orders to determine machine setup and production methods
- Adjust machine settings for pressure, speed, and depth
- Inspect and measure finished parts for accuracy
- Label and move parts to designated storage areas
- Document deviations and take corrective actions
- Train new team members as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of related experience or technical training (or a combination)
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools like calipers and scales
- Basic math and reasoning skills
- Familiarity with CNC software and PC use (varies by machine)
- Forklift license (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
