Job Description

Are you a proactive and driven sales professional with a passion for promoting technical products and solutions? Do you thrive in building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving growth? If so, Johnson Controls has an exciting opportunity for you!

We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead growth and expand our footprint in Sweden. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and promoting our cutting-edge ZETTLER and FireClass detection solutions. This role requires frequent travel across Sweden to engage with customers, deliver impactful product presentations, and collaborate with partners to achieve ambitious sales targets.

This is a 9-month paternity cover, starting approximately September 1, 2025.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive new business growth: Proactively seek out and secure new accounts, focusing on partnerships with Specialist Fire Systems Integrators.
  • Strengthen existing relationships: Maintain and grow customer loyalty by supporting and enhancing current partnerships.
  • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with the Business Development team to generate leads from end users and consultants.
  • Engage key installers: Identify and bid on projects in sectors such as education, healthcare, industrial, and commercial buildings.
  • Deliver impactful presentations: Present technical solutions to stakeholders, including board-level executives.
  • Leverage technology: Use Salesforce to manage leads, track performance, and drive pipeline growth.
    Expand market reach: Identify gaps and help establish new Fire Systems Integrators to increase our market presence.
  • Support events: Participate in marketing campaigns and industry events to align JCI solutions with customer needs.
  • Provide market insights: Share feedback with the Product Management team to drive product innovation and improvement.
  • Coordinate technical support: Partner with Application Engineers to deliver technical expertise and close sales opportunities.
  • Offer integrated solutions: Collaborate with other JCI brands to deliver comprehensive solutions to customers.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in account management, specification sales, or project sales within a technical field.
  • Background in B2B technical solutions sales with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across complex organizations.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish.
  • Driving licence: Valid and required.
  • Experience in surveying buildings and designing fire and/or security systems is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce is an advantage.

You can work from our office in Mölndal (Gothenburg) or remotely from another location in Sweden. However, you must reside in Sweden, as the role requires serving customers across major cities.
