What you will do:

Participates as a member of a development team. Conducts engineering, process and / or financial tasks during project development. Performs high-level analysis focused on components of bundled sales. Helps assess new projects and determine design needs and budget.  

  • Mentored and supervised junior engineers, ensuring team performance aligned with department goals.

  • Promoted collaborative problem-solving and guided professional development within the team.

How you will do it:

Technical Support and Training:

  • Provided technical support to sales and customers across a range of fire suppression products, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues and delivering technical presentations.

  • Conducted training section on fire suppression systems for internal and external stakeholders.

Project Management and Standards Compliance:

  • Led large, multidisciplinary project for client in oil & gas and marine industries, ensuring compliance with international standards (NFPA, EN, ISO) and timely project delivery.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across southeast Asia, India and Korea to address customer inquiries, monitor fabrication progress, and manage logistical and QA needs.

Customer Satisfaction and Process Improvement:

  • Develop and implemented procedures to improve design standards and operational efficiencies.

  • Addressed customer technical request by providing tailored solutions, contributing to high client satisfaction and retention.

Sales support and Account Management:

  • Supported the sales team in Southeast Asia and India with cost estimation, technical presentations, and tendering for fire suppression systems.

  • Provided strategic cost estimation, evaluated competitor products, and identified new suppliers to enhance cost efficiency.

  • Collaborated closely with regional JCI teams, including JCI Korea and India, to deliver cohesive technical sales support.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Marine Engineering with minimum 5 years working experience.

  • In charge of design and estimation of Fire Suppression Systems for both Offshore and Onshore, Oil & Gas facilities such as Rigs, Offshore Platform

  • In charge of design and estimation of Fire Suppression Systems for commercial marine vessels such as Cargo Ship, Container Ship, Tankers, Barges, Ferryboats and Tugboats.    

  • In charge of design and estimation for Navy and coast guard vessel’s fire suppression systems. 

  • Completed over one hundred fire suppression design projects which includes commercial marine vessels / Navy vessels / Rigs / Offshore Platform and land base building.

  • Willing to learn new things.

  • Perform any additional duties as required, whether scheduled or ad-hoc
