As a Warehouse Assistant

• Keep receiving area clear, safe, and organized. 

• Use cage inbounding sheet on every cage/shipment. 

• Separate product by production needs and have clear placement on the receiving side. 

• Keep staging area for the chem room stocked and clearly labeled. 

• Separate and communicate condemned extinguishers in receiving and give counts and tracking numbers to shipping.  Keep bad product from going to production. 

• Work with Supervisor on pre-production inventory and keep a record of what is on hand. 

• Utilize center racking for pre-production storage on items less used. 

• Forklift Maintenance.  Do daily inspections and charge when necessary. 

• Work as a team with shipping to produce excellent results.  Teamwork 

• perform the required service and maintenance on fire extinguishers. 

• responsible for the organization, operation, and cleanliness of area of work. 

• This is a fixed location position with no travel required. Specific Responsibilities: 

• Perform required service and maintenance on fire extinguishers, including recharging, testing, completing six- and twelve-year maintenance work. 

• Accurately complete required reports and paperwork, inspection tags, etc. required for extinguisher service and maintenance records. 

• Perform routine/preventative maintenance on extinguisher shop test equipment. 

• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while at work. 

• 8)Complete required employment paperwork in a timely and professional manner (e.g., timecard) 

• Participate in periodic Johnson Controls business meetings and contribute to the growth and sustainability of Johnson Controls 

• Ability to operate hand tools and lift carry 50lbs.

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Must have a clean driving record 

• Driver's License (Required)
