Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to lead and manage the operations of our GP manufacturing facility in Korea. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal production performance, safety, quality, and cost-efficiency in alignment with Johnson Controls’ strategic goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, operational excellence, and a continuous improvement mindset to drive plant performance and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
  • Develop and implement operational plans to meet production schedules and business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Manage and develop plant personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and process improvements.
  • Monitor and control plant budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control.
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Language: Proficiency in Korean and English is required.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
