Job Description

What will you do?

  • Implement and maintain a safe work environment by promoting a culture of accident prevention.

  • Design and validate manufacturing processes and production cells.

  • Calculate and control optimal capacities for production lines.

  • Create technical documentation, including work sheets and process specifications.

  • Monitor and improve existing manufacturing methods and welding technologies.

  • Conduct inspections and support in the qualification of welders.

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to implement Lean Manufacturing principles.

How will you do it?

  • You will utilize your technical knowledge of various welding processes, including GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW, to develop Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).

  • You will work collaboratively with teams to identify best practices and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Your role will also include evaluating production layouts and overseeing the training of junior staff.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • +3 years of experience in welding engineering or a related field.

  • Valid welding certifications (GMAW, SMAW) in all positions.

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and welding symbols.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments.
