What you will do:

Troubleshoot and serve as a service and install expert on alarm panels, CCTV systems, and card access systems, while maintaining positive relations with the customer.

How you will do it:

  •  Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring
  • Service, install, troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance and inspections on Tyco Integrated Fire & Security products
  • Capable of working on customers' networks in conjunction with their IT personnel.
  • Testing and commissioning of systems.
  • Service, Installation and programming of Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion systems.
  • Such other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor/Manager  

What we look for:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Post-secondary education in a related technical field is an asset. Completion of Computer Networking courses is strongly preferred.
  • Security installation and/or service experience or equivalent.
  • Must be computer literate, have networking ability and have a good knowledge of Computer operating systems 
  • Experience with networking, C-Cure, Kantech, Genetec, Bosch, Avigilon, Lenel, and DSC systems is preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and be able to use hand and power tools 
  • Fluent English language written and verbal skills, demonstrated superior people and telephone skills, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential 
  • The ability to meet deadlines and commitments and to adjust/adapt to new ideas and procedures is necessary

  • Valid Full G driver’s license.
  • Must be bondable
  • Criminal record check required.
  • Flexibility with hours expected to work is required.
