We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Manager to lead a team of Inside Sales Renewals Specialists, Consultants, and Lead Specialists. In this role, you’ll focus on customer engagement and account management for our innovative equipment and services. You’ll drive profitable growth by increasing service revenue and generating new leads, while collaborating with cross-functional teams—including digital and services—to support Johnson Controls’ strategic goals. Your reponsibilities:

  • Lead sales activities and achieve KPIs by coaching team members on prioritization and customer engagement
  • Act as an escalation point and model effective selling behaviors
  • Foster a customer-centric culture and drive organizational change to meet strategic goals
  • Identify opportunities for functional improvement and productivity gains through cross-regional collaboration
  • Develop forecasts and communicate business strategies clearly to your team
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review KPIs and share best practices
  • Provide constructive feedback during customer interactions
  • Support skill development and lead training sessions
  • Build strong relationships with local and national sales teams
  • Promote a performance-driven culture through recognition and team initiatives
  • Ensure accountability and high performance within your team

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
  • Proven experience leading inside sales teams, ideally in Fire, Security, HVAC, Technology, or Software sectors
  • Strong understanding of inside sales concepts and processes
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) for business communication
  • Ability to manage an annual sales pipeline of $5M+
  • Experience in coaching and motivating teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership capabilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

Our benefits

If you are relocating to Bratislava to join Johnson Controls, you will be eligible to receive a housing allowance to help you setup your new life in Slovakia.

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 3 000 EUR per month, plus a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
