We are now looking for a Product Manager for the BMS portfolio for mid-market offering (i.e. small to medium sized buildings) in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle-East and Africa) reporting to the Director of Product Management for EMEA business. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Sales in creating market demand for the product line, for increasing the product brand recognition, for supporting market launches and for driving VoC activities to evolve the product with the goal of meeting customer needs.

How you will do it

  • Evangelize the benefits and the value proposition of portfolio offering to partners, analysts, consultants to create pull-through demand
  • Support strategy development by gathering required data/information as requested, contributes information to sales/marketing plans
  • Assist in executing product launches by coordinating with marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure smooth rollout. Support the creation of internal documentation, such as training materials, feature guides, and FAQs, to enable teams to understand and promote the product effectively.
  • Provide basic application information to marketing to assist in collateral development, beginning to establish low-level industry contacts/relationships.
  • Assist in managing or supporting customer relationships.  Support voice of the customer data and insight gathering process
  • Analyze market trends and competitors’ offerings from market point of view Assists or contributes to the development of the product / service / offering, manages, and maintains competitive database for the product / service / offering, supports legacy product / service / offering
  • Lead the Go to Market activities in close collaboration with the sales teams for EMEA region
  • Work with Engineering team to design solution for new products or for evolutions of existing ones
  • Partner with Procurement department to manage suppliers, including inventory and materials costs.

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, engineering or equivalent experience.  MBA or other graduate-level degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 5+ years of Product Management, Sales, Marketing experience ideally within European markets
  • Basic understanding of the budgeting process, key financial indicators (ie ROI, IRR, NPV).  Ability to follow established guidelines and processes (ie Capital Requests).  Basic understanding of the various types of business models (subscription, product or service delivery, distribution, etc).
  • Demonstrated ability to write well, edit effectively and present complex issues and projects succinctly, logically, and persuasively.
  • Preferred basic level of knowledge of key industries product/service/offering supports, basic level of knowledge of key applications within key industries that the product/service/offering supports
  • Basic understanding of value pricing and value capture models
  • You are flexible to travel 20%-30% of the time.
