What you will do 

This is a mechanical HVAC service and repair position. We will equip you with the required tools to perform your job at the highest standard. Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items. As a trusted advisor to our customers you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service 

 

How you will do it 

Probationary Employees shall perform mechanical equipment service and all other work coming under the labor agreement assigned by the Employer, limited only by their capabilities as determined by the Employer, and shall perform all assigned work under the direction of the Employer. Troubleshoot, performs maintenance, and resolve equipment issues. Responds to basic calls for service. Keeps JCI, contractors, and the customer informed of job progress and issues as needed. Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities. Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions. 

 

What we look for 

 

Required 

High School Diploma or equivalent or currently enrolled in an HVAC certificate program. 
Familiarity with HVAC equipment (residential or light commercial) 

The ability to perform general building maintenance 
Self-starter with ability to work independently 
This position requires a current driver's license 
Willingness to supplement on-the-job training. 

Good verbal and written communication skills 

Familiar with HVAC related applications and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.…) 

 

Preferred 
EPA Refrigeration certification a plus 
 

This is a Bargaining Unit Position
