What you will do


The Quality Analyst will work onsite at our Airside Center of Excellence in York, PA and will be responsible for ensuring applicable quality systems at the site and network level are properly implemented and maintained to effectively meet set performance targets. This includes partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders for Corrective and Preventive Actions to address customer complaints and/or Quality Alerts.


This role will not provide sponsorship to work in the United States now, or in the future.


How you will do it


•    Long term focus in identifying quality operational gaps and executing improvement strategies to resolve issues.
•     Provides measurable input into new processes or standards in support of the overall Customer experience with  some impact on the business/functional and overall quality results. 
•    Represents customer needs and concerns to plant management and provides liaison service between customers and appropriate plant personnel and Division staff organizations. 
•    Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure that products meet the required standards. Establish protocols for inspecting incoming shipments and assessing overall product quality as requested by any JCI business unit.
•    Assist with analysis and compilation of Operational Description Sheets (ODS’s) Best Demonstrated Practices from benchmarked sites.
•    Create, communicate and maintain the corrective action system for internal and external suppliers, including root cause analysis, corrective action implementation and effectiveness of 8D’s. Assist with applicable training as needed.
•    Respond to Quality Notification Alerts from internal/external suppliers. Partner with Inventory Control and Planning team to freeze potentially non-conformance product. Coordinate inspection process with product owner for rework and physical disposition.
•    Participate in Kaizen events and the implementation of Continuous Improvement tools to eliminate waste and meet customer demand in a timely manner.
•    Create, maintain and integrate performance data tables. Interpret and evaluate trends and generate improvement recommendations. Creates and maintains visualization dashboards integrating data from multiple systems and sources.
•    Collaborates with other functional areas: IT, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales and Transportation.


What we look for 
Required:


•    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline or combination of education and experience.  6 Years suggested minimum experience.
•    Experience creating user interfaces and gathering data via Power Apps.
•    Experience creating data visualization content leveraging PowerBI.
•    Experience utilizing Lean, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma tools.
•     Strong Problem-solving tools and PFMEA experience
•    Solid exposure to JDA Warehouse Management System (WMS) or a task driven order fulfillment system for automated operations.
