What you will do
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Refrigeration Service Personnel to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining refrigeration systems in various industries.
How you will do
- Conduct service and maintenance activities on IR Ammonia single and double systems, adhering to operational philosophies.
- Read and understand electrical and controller drawings, as well as P&ID diagrams.
- Commission, service, and troubleshoot refrigeration systems and gas compressor units, with a preference for experience with Sabroe, Gram, and Frick units.
- Perform testing, commissioning, and service on Danfoss valves and control systems commonly used in JCI industrial refrigeration systems.
- Overhaul reciprocating screw compressors, preferably with experience on SABROE, GRAM, Frick, and YORK compressors.
- Possess knowledge and experience in controls and instrumentation, including an understanding of relay-based controls, PLCs, DCS systems, and compressor unit controllers such as Unisab, Gramatic, and Quantum.
- Familiarity with process cooling equipment commonly used in petrochemical industries, including systems utilizing propane and R134a refrigerants.
- Maintain a basic understanding of the hazards associated with ammonia, propane, and H2S gases.
- Handle, report, and communicate effectively with food and beverage and PRS customers.
- Possess a valid UAE driving license.
- Hold a diploma or degree in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- Have a minimum of 10 to 15 years of hands-on field service experience.
What we look for
- Proven experience and knowledge in the commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting of refrigeration systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical and controller drawings, as well as P&ID diagrams.
- Familiarity with Sabroe, Gram, and Frick compressor units.
- Proficiency in testing, commissioning, and servicing Danfoss valves and control systems.
- Experience in overhauling reciprocating screw compressors, preferably SABROE, GRAM, Frick, and YORK compressors.
- Solid understanding of controls and instrumentation, including relay-based controls, PLCs, DCS systems, and compressor unit controllers (Unisab, Gramatic, Quantum).
- Knowledge of process cooling equipment and refrigerants used in petrochemical industries.
- Basic awareness of the hazards associated with ammonia, propane, and H2S gases.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- UAE driving license is mandatory.
