What you will do

 The Data Analyst at Johnson Controls will be responsible for data cleansing and enriching efforts in the materials masters across multiple manufacturing locations. This person will also engage in mining data attributes from various ERP's including sourcing from design data drawings and engineering specs.

How you will do it

• The chosen candidate will be responsible for analyzing existing data records for quality and perform corrections.
• They will also correct item attributes that fall outside the acceptable values per the exception reports, populate missing attributes for  the materials masters as directed and mine critical master data fields, including global material classification characteristic  data, according to data standards and based on the review of engineering and purchasing specifications and drawings.

What you will need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related
• English proficiency is a must
• Knowledge of SAP/Hana ERP and PTC Windchill PLM
• Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
• Strong skills in data administration, design and architecture
• Strong in analytical skills
• Must be able to read and understand Engineering drawings and spec sheets and be able to mine data from them
• Mechanical ability
• An aptitude for understanding part specifications, data mining, and projecting data design implications onto varied  business processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word Applications (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint) as well as internet software and Email
• Experience working with relational databases
• Minimum Associates degree and/or equivelant combination of education and experience
