What will you do?

Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of material through the production cycle. Collaborate with customers, purchasing, production, and engineering teams regarding new product releases and long-term customer needs. Prepare and manage the demand production schedule for a facility serving multiple product lines and/or customers. Supervise materials coordinators and/or analysts directly.

How will you do it?

• Optimize material flow and inventory levels to ensure compliance with production schedules.

• Engage with cross-functional teams to gather and evaluate requirements for new product launches.

• Adjust production schedules as required based on real-time production demands and supply chain dynamics.

• Oversee and develop the skills of materials coordinators and/or analysts to enhance team performance.

• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to forecast demand and resolve operational issues.

• Utilize ERP systems for monitoring, reporting, and managing inventory and purchasing orders.

• Implement best practices in demand planning to meet customer expectations and align with business goals.

What are we looking for?

• A university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain or materials management.

• Experience in a supervisory position within a manufacturing or production environment.

• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency with inventory management systems.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting.
