Responsible for hourly personnel training and ensuring plant training plans are followed. Training development and contribution to plant KPIs through various training methods.
How will you do it?
Coordinates trainings and re-certifications, ensuring training is designed, delivered and evaluated for consistency.
Prepare and teach technical programs to help workers learn new technical skills. Prepare learning materials for programs.
Maintains expert-level knowledge in at least one production department; evaluates and improves processes within work areas.
Supports the updating of ODS and ODS certification of houly personnel. Utilizes internal and external resources as necessary to achieve goals.
Collaborates with training team to assess, design, develop and maintain training solutions and components.
Provides reporting to business area and training management.
Conducts training and educational programs, on-the-job training, and colleague orientation.
Maintains records for training programs, including evaluations, employee participation and LMS records.
Ability to assess training needs, Schedule and teach classes, and create material to ensure employees are prepared to do their jobs and possess the competence for their positions.
What we look for?
Engineering Degree
Prior experience as a trainer or a similar position.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable talking in front of a group as well as one-on-one with an individual.
Knowledge of various teaching methods and approaches.
Excellent organizational skills
Able to give and receive feedback effectively
Knowledge of manufacturing, welding or wiring processes desirable.
