TITLE- Project Engineer (CWR)

What You Will Do

• Lead end-to-end execution of retrofits, AMC, and service activities for AC & Refrigeration, HVAC, and Fire Systems in Karwar Yard.
• Act as the Single Point of Contact for customer escalations.
• Prepare and share weekly progress reports with the Project Manager.
• Ensure all orders are executed in a commercially effective manner.
• Manage service teams and subcontractors; allocate resources and monitor progress for timely completion.
• Maintain timely and effective communication with customers regarding status, delays, and payments.
• Ensure Health and Safety compliance for all site teams.

How You Will Do It

• Understand contractual obligations /scope and develop detailed execution plans.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to identify gaps and implement solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Interpret customers’ needs and plan activities to exceed expectations.
• Identify training needs and facilitate skill development within the team.

What We Look For

• Qualification: B.E./Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 10–12 years in service/project execution on Naval & Marine ships.
• Technical Knowledge: AC Plants, Air Handling Units, Heat Exchangers, Ventilation Fans, and other HVAC components.

Skills

• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred

• Indian Navy Artificers with hands-on experience in AC/HVAC/Fire systems.
