What you will do:

The Technical Support Engineer (HVAC) is responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and support for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves working closely with customers, service teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal system performance, timely issue resolution, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide technical support for HVAC systems including installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues remotely or on-site
  • Assist field technicians in resolving complex technical problems
  • Analyze system performance and recommend corrective actions

Customer & Service Support

  • Respond to customer queries and service requests in a timely manner
  • Guide customers and service teams on proper operation and maintenance of HVAC systems
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication

Installation & Commissioning Support

  • Support HVAC system installation and commissioning activities
  • Ensure systems are installed and configured according to technical specifications
  • Assist in testing and validation of equipment

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed service records, technical reports, and issue logs
  • Prepare troubleshooting guides and technical documentation
  • Track recurring issues and recommend preventive solutions

Training & Knowledge Sharing

  • Conduct technical training sessions for internal teams and clients
  • Stay updated on new HVAC technologies, products, and industry standards

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies
  • Follow relevant codes and standards related to HVAC systems
