We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist II.

What will you do?

As a Purchasing Specialist II, you will support the development, management, and assessment of suppliers, ensuring alignment with company standards for quality, reliability, and cost. Your role will involve analyzing the supplier database, maintaining performance metrics, and contributing to procurement strategies that optimize value and effectiveness.

How will you do it?

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier capabilities meet organizational needs, demonstrating accountability and integrity in procurement decisions.
  • Analyze supplier performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhanced supplier reliability and efficiency.
  • Streamline procurement processes by focusing on critical elements, removing potential obstacles, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools to evaluate supplier metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with team members and suppliers, fostering trust and mutual growth to achieve shared objectives.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in procurement or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets to drive informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with procurement tools and systems; familiarity with SAP or similar systems is preferred.
