ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Wrap units with insulation material, including cutting and measuring material for placement on unit

Fits, adjusts, installs or fastens unit or component parts to a unit.

Performs housekeeping and other duties as required.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lifting 50 lbs. (occasional)

• Standing (constant)

• Walking (frequently)

• Bending (frequently)

• Climbing (occasional)

• Crawling (occasional)

• Reaching (frequent)

• Grasping (frequent)

• Sitting (occasional)

• Vision corrected to 20/20. 

• Handling equipment (frequently)

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:

• Manufacturing – Exposure to noise, dirt, dust, cold/heat (indoor), cold/heat (outdoor). 

• Job hazards of working around heavy equipment and machinery.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:

Tape measure, small hand tools, power tools, crane, brazing torch.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of hand tools. 

• Ability to read measuring tape. 

• Good hand dexterity required to fit and assemble product.   

• Perform math at a level normally acquired through completion of high school.  Ability to maintain clean and safe work area and/or equipment as required.

• Willingness to actively participate in a Continuous Improvement Team

• Must be able to understand and follow safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures. 

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
