What you will do

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to lead our HVAC service team as Operations Manager. In this role you will directly manage a number of field line managers who in turn manage a team of approximately 80 engineers. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving KPIs and productivity, and reporting to senior leadership.

How you will do it

  • Drive operational excellence for the HVAC service business in Abu Dhabi.
  • Responsible for delivery of maintenance, retrofit and repair of HVAC Business in Abu Dhabi, utilising knowledge of Industry Standards, Building Compliance and contractual obligations to deliver a holistic approach to customer equipment.
  • Coordination of Team leaders and Technicians, to drive growth within the existing service business.
  • Deliver service to JCI customers within predetermined financial and non-financial objectives.
  • Provide customer support and ensures customer satisfaction while delivering the SLA’a defined.
  • Ethics Compliance – ensuring the Branch complies with all aspects of the Johnson Controls Ethics Policy
  • Ensuring 100% compliance to Johnson Controls Health, Safety and Environmental (EHS) policies

What we Look for

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent from a Technical School with relevant industry trade licence and related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate a team
  • Must have the ability to interact effectively with employees and customers in difficult situations.
  • Proven management skills in achieving results, including financial, goal setting, planning and review
  • Demonstrates strong technical subject matter expertise to foster credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.
