Key Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Authorities

• To provide consultation relating to Electrical or any other safety legislation matters.
• To liaise with legislation body on all electrical safety issues.
• To diagnose the electrical power breakdown and propose solution during power failure.  
• To develop employees who are undergoing Chargeman / Wireman certificate courses.
• To conduct monthly inspection on the main switchboard and factory electrical systems.
• To upgrade factory electrical facility.
• To assist, advise and review electrical designs on products.
• To conduct preventive and corrective maintenance work.
• To plan, organise and supervise repair and maintenance work in the plant.
• To coordinate and supervise work done by contractors to ensure standards are met.
• To be on 24-hour standby for emergency response.
• To ensure compliance to requirement and standards of Tenaga Nasional Berhad on any matter related to factory electrical system.

Note: Domestic issues are to be handled by York (Malaysia) Manufacturing Sdn Bhd.
