Key Responsibility
Logistics Officer is responsible for the process of logistics, transportation & warehouse management and documentation. The work of Logistics Officer may involve:
- apply for import application to Custom or Government agencies in order to get results on permission of components imported for lines of business
- arrange custom clearance with shipping agents and logistics providers
- Provide import and export shipping documents.
- Co-ordinate with the shipping company to achieve imports of components for lines of business in a timely fashion.
- Collecting import documents and matching invoices for preparation of payment to suppliers and shipping companies.
- Check and verify the forwarder’s billings invoices according to agreed rates.
- good receipt & issuing transaction, pick up and put away goods from/to storage location
- preparing of goods to deliver to branches or customer places including arrangement of proper transportation
- perform monthly cycle count and year-end stocktaking
- perform a specific warehouse function of good withdrawal, pick list/ DO print out, transport arrangement, related to Distribution products & 3PL
- stock keeping, keeping computerized checks of the goods in the warehouse and making sure the numbers in stock match the records job related to logistics base on supervisor assign
Knowledge & Skill
- be good at working in a team
- good knowledge in warehouse management and logistics management , Inbound –outbound logistics regulation, Custom formality and international regulation
- good interpersonal and communication skills and possess strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- good command of written & spoken English and computer literacy
- ERP system knowledge like iScala , SAP process .
