Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Engineer to join our team in Wuxi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop HVAC systems for new and existing facilities.
- Conduct load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of HVAC systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system issues.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and project management.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and maintenance records.
- Support energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC system design, installation, or maintenance.
- Familiarity with HVAC software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier HAP).
- Knowledge of Chinese HVAC codes and international standards.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Mandarin; English is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Experience in cleanroom, pharmaceutical, or industrial HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and IoT integration.
